This week, Friday 8th July we are pleased to welcome Daniel James @whatever to the decks. Daniel will be taking the helm with a special mix that he has put together for us. He will be getting deep and dark with his blend of atmospheric grooves, spaced out psychedelic melodies, searing acid lines and synth waves that flow throughout the mix. Also expect to hear one or two gems that have influenced his career and shaped his sound as a DJ.
Inspired by an upbringing that exposed him to an eclectic range of music including rock, blues, indie, soul and everything in between; Daniel got his first break as a DJ while working in a nightclub bar in the mid-nineties and promptly traded in his guitar for some 1210s. Daniel went on to play clubs, bars and parties; gaining further inspiration from his travels around the country listening to the leading DJs of the time. Now with a focus on home life and a career beyond the world of DJ’ing, Daniel occasionally manages to find time to draw on his extensive experience to put together mixes that reflect his love of dance music.
You don’t want to miss this one, so get yourself a drink and settle in for a trip into the deepest realms of electronic music.
