Ed driving to Printworks, with Frank Thomas mounted on the front of his car Fury Road style, to see Hector Oaks.
Chemical Brothers - Desert Island track
There is one big omission on that list Zackster.
That omission is of course, Leftfield.
The Orb above Leftfield lol
Smallman1 That omission is of course, Leftfield.
The ladâs had a shocker
Leftfield are fine. The Orb are legendary. Not surprised to see this place doesnât rate them.
Does Roni Size/Reprazent not qualify? They were a canât miss for me whenever they came around this way.
No Faithless? Pffff
jonattonyeah Personally I donât count them, no. If I did, I would have them above all on that list, save possibly Underworld, but ever that is TBD. Am a massive massive fan. Iâd guess New Forms has a track on my radio show on a monthly basis.
Damo rating Basement Jaxx higher than anticipated
Fair enough. They did fit better under the umbrella of âsoul/hip hopâ rather than the broad âelectronic dance music act.â
Looks like Zackster has âReg of the Yearâ sewn up.
Some effort considering weâre only in June.
Where does Fluke fit into all this? Never saw them live but they knocked out some decent enough tunes in their day.
Waiting for âwheres Spooky and Wow?!â

The Chems and Underworld are still going strong and releasing decent music while the others are either mothballed or reliving past glories from 30 years ago to ever diminishing returns. Their back catalogues and live performances are on another level to the others on that list (with the exception of Prodigy up to FOTL)
The best thing The Prodigy have put out in 20 years is that Christophe DâAbuc Climbatize bootleg thingy. Utter shambles post FOTL.
I thought the Chems called it quits and only one of them was now flying the flag.
