            ‘Did’ Dubai for only the second time recently (flew PEK-DXB-MAN-DXB-PEK, so actually only spent about 6 hours total in the airport terminal), fuck me it was a horrorshow - Turkey teeth and grey designer trackies everywhere. It’s the most incongruous sight - absolute bimbos with scouse brows and massive knockers arriving in a conservative country. What do they do? I have no idea. Just shop? Because you can’t get bevvied except in hotel bars I’ve heard? And there’s no way you can be sunbathing or spending hours around an outdoor pool in that heat (It was about 40 at 7am, we had to do the stairs and bus one way).

            Absolutely zero desire to work there or holiday there. Although to be fair, the airport food was a damn sight better than in England or China.

                  Millsy Fair point, but I don’t like this nouveau riche Montirex look. Or Under Armour or Castore, which is what all these types go for as well. Basically shit, overpriced, always fucking grey.

                        Happy to report that the current situation in St Lucia is predominantly upper middle class.

                        Smallman1 horrific. Had to use the business lounge as neither of us are gold.

                        And the food on the plane was awful.
