Can we get this guy here immediately.
How the fuck did we get here
He would probably hark on about GU 19 and the dark side. Only after he topped himself, his parents would be looking for someone to blame, and become a regular fixture on the board too

The sepo SimonR. Or Sycophantic Si as he’s known. The only difference is Si walks round gigs with his lad out and doesn’t do it on YouTube.

When he does this, I really could
This one is just as bad. Nick looks like he is recovering from a stroke

I can’t actually watch any of these vids they are truly sickening. South Americans are equally as bad. Proper nauseating.
Cankles-McJeggings The only difference is Si walks round gigs with his lad out and doesn’t do it on YouTube.
Everyone agreed to forget about this incident after a humble apology and the camera evidence being deleted.
Dry-Tinder Somebody get his meds.
Jesus.
I’m beginning to think that he is Yoko Ono’s (petra) pension fund. Let’s wheel Nick out for another gig with Hernan.
Lol when the sirens come on, is that a didgeridoo or a psychedelic flute? Bellend.
Got a bit confused, thought this was Midnight On 27th Street, was waiting for him to react to the namaaz.
What a tune tho. Monster.
lol that clip. It’s the distortion that does it for me.
Remember 25 years ago Progressive house was actually the ’thinking man’s’ music however now its actually for those that are kind of limited, musically.
I think your getting confused with Progressive rock.
It’s not dated well. Neither has the trance from then either. All just sounds like some shit Ferry Corsten would play.
Cankles-McJeggings Also why most of the prog folks will accept Anjuna Deep.
It’s mostly the 130+ bpm that I have a problem with, and always did. On some cheekies it’s great… but otherwise, it’s mostly a nostalgia play for me.
All the dutch trance folks from those days are loving nosebleed techno now. Not the zackster variety, but the soulless garbage from the likes for Dubfire.
Hang on, Zackster likes Nina who peddles souless garbage.
Cankles-McJeggings Zackster techno, soulless nina techno, both will result in nosebleed.
Fair enough. Music for remwards.
I don’t want to waste another post trying to decide a genre for Dubfire of all DJs, Hugo. Figure it out.
But I hear you… nosebleed is more like Jeff Mills et al.
Anjuna Deep. Like fucking hell, it was shit then and its shit now.
Yea i agree with the organic house reference. It doesnt matter if the melody or arrangement is remotely interesting or catchy just throw it over a drum loop and away you go.
Yeh agreed, Anjuna deep doesn’t get enough flack.
Always surprises me when my clubbing mates from 2001 will say, “Anjuna Deep isn’t bad.” Think a couple of them went for a gig here recently as well. Refuse to give it a chance out of principle.
I see somebody has invited him onto this board. I bet he’s had a look & thought fuck that I’d get eaten alive.
I can’t wait for the Oakey interview

People shouldn’t encourage him. This is fucking horrible
What’s up Super Progressive happy monday and I’m so stoked to share a very very very special post today!!!
After I shared the Killahurtz post the other day, Mick Park of Parks & Wilson, Killahurtz, and Tilt actually reached out to me and was nice enough to share the backstory of Tilt’s “Seduction of Orpheus (Tilt Mythology Mix)”. I know this track is an absolute classic and I also remember it being featured as the first track of @dannytenagliaofficial GU010 Athens CD2. Here’s what Mick had to say about the track’s creation. I hope you all enjoy, and thank you again Mick! This was really special for me.
“So the backstory of the Seduction of Orpheus is a friend of mine who was studying fashion at the world famous Central Saint Martins University of Art in London. Lots of really famous designers have studied there. The end of term fashion show is a very big deal, they have lots of fashion houses attend looking for the next big designer. My friend’s collection was about the Greek mythology story of Orpheus who joined the expedition of the Argonauts, saving them from the music of the Sirens by playing his own, more powerful music. So we set about composing a 4 minute piece of music for his show. It had to be dark but powerful and grab people’s attention - so that’s what we did. After we’d finished it our management team had it in the office, when Sasha came in and asked if they had any new music. They played him the original show piece and he insisted on taking it away to play that weekend. The rest is history, it was part of the Dark Science EP on Hooj. A bit of trivia, John Graham did the vocals on the final version, as we didn’t wanna risk the sample we used.”
The full reaction to this track is on YouTube (link in bio). I hope you all enjoy, and I wanted to ask you… What are your memories of this track, and what other TILT tracks would you like to know the backstory of?
Thanks again Mick!
So for the video, it’s actually good to see someone enjoying the tune. Can’t see what’s wrong with that.
His style might be different, but is argue it’s probably less annoying than the both thumbs your arse cynicism approach sometimes prevalent on here.
Did worry the lads head was going to wobble off at one point though!

Definitely calling him out for saying GU10 is one of his favourite albums ever, let alone GU comp’, but hasn’t (until this video) heard the opening track to CD2? Must be a CD1 only guy…
I call phoney!
Damn- that was my retirement gig. Amazon it is then after my average career in the city comes to an end.
My YouTube channel would be giving guest slots to JC members to discuss tracks and classic JC threads / bantz etc. Plus Nick Muir would be roped in for advice on comfortable clothing for over 50s whilst DJing/Producing .

Now ya talking. Comfy pants & baggy t-shirts.
Loved that EP…lol
Used to drop this on the end Ruhe.
