alistair I know he’s a Hacienda Legend ™ and everything, but has anyone hear heard a Graeme Park set that rated higher than about 6/10?

Never saw him at the Hacienda but seen the baldy cunt quite by accident about three times, heard other sets too, never did anything for me.

He’s just the old bloke who plays house records in a 90s bar isn’t he?

      Enjoyed that. He does come across as a decent bloke. Didn’t realise he’s released over 500 records either. Love the bit where he’d tell the warm up DJ to play whatever he likes. Top man.

        alistair I assumed he did because he was always on the bill at some shite club in Hull along with the rotating cast of characters I mentioned.

          bosstrabs the first essential mix he ever did was excellent, but yeah I know what you mean, he did tend to veer toward the wrong side sometimes

              nicksneddon he has always liked big vocal house records. His legend is built on them. Whitehead, Wainwright and Park were disciples. I used to like Healy in my earliest clubbing days. and there were few similarities. You’d never see Morales playing renegade master or you sure do. As for Sonique, she was a gatecrasher dj. Chalk and cheese

                    Always found when he was pretty much free to play waht he likes he could quite regularly nail it.

                    Post Haç I’m not sure he could be arsed. Had some commercial gigs and a radio show where you felt was playing someone else’s agenda and couldn’t be arsed any more.

                      alistair I know what you mean calling Sonique a ‘Gatecrasher DJ’ but actually she did a residency at Cream and then GodsKitchen - I know because they were my regular two clubs and I couldn’t get away from the daft slag, coming on and singing over all her records and ruining everyone’s night.

                      I don’t think she ever had a Gatecrasher residency (though she undoubtedly will have played there) - the residents were Scott Bond, Judge Jules, Ashley Casselle (Ashtrax) and PvD (monthly).
