Yeh defo. I went in the 90s to catch Sasha at Sancho Panza with my brother. I lost him and it was pre living on phones so that was us fucked. I walked round feeling like a white boy who might get turned over any minute. I had Maharishi Sno pants on and an evisu tee and felt like I was next on the menu. I walked into what was a dead end street with the most monstrous mental sound system and hard core jungle banging out. It went dark and I was literally a white bread sandwich and was getting looks like one. Got out of there quick sharp. The vibe definitely changed when it went dark.
Cankles-McJeggings I think Sasha played there a few times as he lived up the road and was pally with the Sanch crowd. I’ve worked in that area it’s not nice.

Yeh haha we were totally ill equipped for the job. Just expected a few streets with the odd stage here and there. I just remember totally losing all sense of direction which is not like me. I really hadn’t got a clue where I was or how to get out for hours.
