Audioprawn Was pretty cool Smallman. It’s literally the last thing you would expect, especially first time there. So pretty lucky. Any of those kind of surprises happen anymore? Smallman1
Audioprawn Anyone here ever catch the 3 Tyrants at the Bonapart Pub in the late afternoon of Carnival? Seems I missed that by a year. I think it was just before Fabric opened? Would be cool to hear some stories from that.
TitianWarrior I went 5 years running when an old pal lived in Queens Park which is just a 15 minute walk away. Saw Sasha twice at sancho panza, I think the first time was 1999, and bushwacka another year. Always had a great time.
Cankles-McJeggings Haha any pictures of a jovial policeman putting his helmet on an old black lady this year?
Smallman1 Cankles-McJeggings Haha any pictures of a jovial policeman putting his helmet on an old black lady this year? Multicultural GREAT Britain it’s best. The old Doris would have been shot on the spot in the US of A.
Millsy User to enjoy carnival back in the early 2000s. Good Times sound system with Norman Jay and Sancho Panza and the Bonaparte were all great. One year I got absolutely blotto and ended up falling into some bins and getting covered in chicken and rice and ting. Never saw any violence when I went.
bosstrabs Fucking hell, Norman Jay is absolute dogshit. Literally the worst big name DJ I’ve ever seen. Didn’t even bother mixing the time I saw him.
Smallman1 Used to play out of a silly bus too. Used to be one of the biggest ‘stages’, I always thought it was rubbish.
bosstrabs Norman Jay is literally the shittest ‘name’ DJ I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen Alex P vom down the side of the DJ booth, mid-set, in Bakers in Britain’s worst city.
bosstrabs Chugmeister Bumbaclart, dropping Unfinished Sympathy in the middle of a peak time set. Jay, not Millsy. Actually, Millsy too.
