Talking of Smith stuff I argued a couple of years back with someone on here that said they’d thought the quality of the stuff had gone down the pan recently. I hadn’t noticed but a few months or so back I bought a fleece zip up hoodie for about 150 and washed it once at 20 and the elastic in the waste gave up and loads of the dye came out on the hems and other extremities. Am well fucking pissed off. Think it also shrank a bit too.

That was me. I always used to buy Paul Smith stuff for work. Not necessarily shirts but certainly stuff like ties and some of the less fruity cufflinks. Shoes as well, occasionally. Definitely gone down the pan, I almost put Paul Smith on the level of Ted Baker now - ‘quirky’ British nonsense that’s badly made.

bosstrabs Actually picked up a long sleeved pink chinatown market tee the year before last. Decent, good quality stuff to be fair. Faded now but never shrank and kept its shape.

Yeh I’m tending to agree. I like less and less of the the stuff he does now. I recently got a really nice down filled half bubble coat hoody thingy, a basic black zebra polo and a long sleeve zebra tee and that’s me done with it I think.

Recently got a bunch of stuff I had purchased end of 2019 and sent to a friend in the US (thinking I’d be making a trip there early 2020 for the pick up). Some plain black, grey and navy blue basic tees from upper playground, two fuct hoodies (one chenille logo and one with embroidered logos all over), one basic hoodie from Kith and one cashmere hoodie from everlane. Think I’m sorted for the next couple of years.

The wife just got me a black crew neck sweater and sweat pants from the Teddy Santis’ made in usa new balance collection. Pricing was absurd, but luckily they ended up with a 40% discount. The cut and material are nice.

And Im pretty much living in the airism leisurewear stuff from uniqlo at home. And a bunch of the activwear stuff for badminton and table tennis. Can’t go wrong with uniqlo IMO, I don’t care what you say dermo.
