I saw Holden a couple of times when he held at residency at paSSion in Coalville. Warming up for the likes of Armin (who was also resident) and Ferry. Was fairly short lived but power prog trance was the order of the day and I was usually flying by 9pm when the doors opened so it worked out fine. Was a similar era to his Slide days I believe.
Blackpool late 80s is a great track by the way, that was the last album of his I bought. I like how he experiments with other stuff now.
I saw him twice. Once in Brixton 2000 ish and he was absolutely fucking shit.
