BBC Sunday night drama postponed to show highlights of the funeral they ran live all day

alistair glad they did. Meant I could watch it properly. What a privilege to have been on the ground and helping out.

Some sort of perfect post Brexit analogy:

Along_the_Wire A little inappropriate if you ask me.

Turned down the funeral comms and put on disc 1, Sander Kleinenberg’s Sacred (dub) came in just as Her Majesty arrived at Windsor.

      A proper moment.

Mad_Cyril Never seen so many police in my life. More undercover there than spectators at times. They were all really professional and doing a great job. No booze on site. Really noticeable. Everybody did a great job.

benson Everybody did a great job.

Good to hear some positives, folks are quick to moan so makes a pleasant change!

Millsy i hope you appreciated the chug-tastic No 2 and 3 Funeral March by Beethoven - a solid 78 bpm .

            I’m now permanently tops off.

Went on a Zoom call earlier and a colleague asked “why have you got your top off?”

I just lifted up GU 013 and they said “understood.”

I managed to avoid all of it yesterday. Was planning on watching it but then saw how long the whole thing would be and decided to bail.

I also went for a pint with a mate on Sunday night. He lives alone, doesn’t view mainstream media and keeps himself to himself. He genuinely did not know about the queue for the coffin. Must be lovely to be able to avoid the news like that

Just stick a double beat under it and you’ve pretty much got gabber.
