You can actually install it all on a PC and link it to your TV that way too, same as having a stick or Droid box but with the obvious benefits of a better CPU, graphics card etc etc

Matt as an example, on the football menu for a game i can choose the SD, HD or UHD stream.

It’s done via a fire stick as someone mentioned earlier.

One minor thing I forgot…..when watching a game, the ball will flicker when it’s booted by a player. I think that is the settings on my TV though, not the app

I’m experimenting with a Fire Stick based app.

It’s decent in concept, but doesn’t work so great, you end up with buffering, synch issues and a iffy picture.

I’ve tried signal boosters but suspect the app itself has quite a heavy overhead, have skys full fat broadband with no problem streaming anything else, either in the house or the garden.

Is probably sound if wired to the router, but fucked if I’m rerouting cabling etc to find out.

In short, close but no cigar.

Yes mate. Every time I fire it up.

After about 15 - 25 minutes is at it again.

Can’t risk clearing the cache mid game and missing a Harry Maguire masterclass

I ditched Sky a couple of years back after 20 odd years with them, bought a FireTVStick and pay for Prime, Disney+ and Netflix. Gone from 100 quid a month to about 40

Hmmm weird as mine doesn’t seem to do this. I do have it hard wired though

I used a service about a year ago - no need for a box or any external usb stick, i just downloaded an IPTV app from the LG store. It basically had everything, including loads of grot channels which probably isn’t ideal if you have young kids.

It was good but it’s a constant game of cat and mouse with these providers. Alot of them are reselling content from the same sources and they do get busted quite often.

Also I wasn’t really to comfortable paying for it with a card considering you’re dealing with organised crims.

        gcw

Do you just watch the footy on Sky and BT?

Echo no I find that the American streams are pretty solid. There is a section in the app for epl teams and I just go to the Liverpool page and stream from there

Can’t believe no one has mentioned messaging snidey Paul, king of the snidey TV and snidey everything else.

Last seen auditioning for the Manc musical version of Snide & Prejudice

seanc80 he hates people of colour too, so perhaps Snide & Prejudiced is better suited.

Somebody told me his favourite hymn is a snide with me.

He took a mortgage out with the Snidesdale

He’s the world champion at Snide & Seek these days

It’s not all hymns though, loves that lou Reed song, take a walk on the wild snide.
