That said, they all do. While I can see Dermo’s point about him going through the motions, I don’t think having a record picker is the stick to beat him with.
IIRC he said in an interview he still goes through 200 or so tunes a week himself. It’s impossible for him (and the rest of them) to find the time to go through everything they get sent.

You wont find a DJ on the planet who goes to every gig and wants to be where he is. Sasha’s cryptonite is the bar he set, it propelled him and maybe now it hinders him. Only natural I suppose but he defo still has it in the bag imo.

Actually, to have a ghost writer or similar, you would have to have a very clear style, with repeatable stock phrases that literally anyone could write.
I’m not sure anyone could do that with Smallman’s output.
LT42 I don’t think that anyone has asked for any money back. But when you buy a ticket for an event, you should at least expect the artist to make every effort to turn up and not shit on fans with feeble excuses time and time again. How has he earned it more than anyone else. Sasha has never struck me as someone that has gone above or beyond for any of his fans.
It’s like that gig in Cardiff, where he gashed that women in the head with a cd, putting her in A&E, on finding out what he did, he packed up his shit and did a runner mid set. Pretty fucking despicable behaviour. So remind me again, what has he earned?

I’m not, but I do find it funny how his sycophant fans try and justify his behaviour when it is piss poor. You can like someone as an artist, without having to condone their behaviour. Roman Polanski Is a good example, much as you may like his films, the guy is a padofile.

Completely agree Sutcliffe was a great HGV driver but that never gets mentioned.
My mate was an apprentice fitter at Fodens truck makers in sandbach and Sutty was a delivery driver dropping parts off there. So often that he had his own mug with his name written on it. When he got caught my mate robbed the cup and still has it.
