Already got this on mi bimmer innit
mono-stereo decided against the R8. Couldn’t get past fact it’s still an Audi, despite everyone saying it’s a Hurcan underneath.
Currently trying to decide on an Aston, but my word they’re pricey.
Know that feeling too well. I’d like to buy a Euro 6 diesel van. But christ their expensive.
I had the same with Ferraris. Was well up for one until I saw the price tag. Gee whizz!
Tough, tough decisions there ElRob
Seems like that container ship fire was down to lithium ion batteries in electric cars onboard, much like another recently.
Makes you wonder how safe the technology is and what the insurance companies will be saying as it seems to be happening not just with cars, but bikes, scooters etc.
I spoke to someone recently who was charging their car using the 3 Pin plug which is pretty stupid as that is asking for a fire
Hursty Strudders?
99% of phones are lithium ion batteries and are stable. Samsung had an issue with exploding/Splitting batteries, but it’s down to cheap manufacturing/design causing the problems.
Always thought this ad was ballsy, given how nascent everything is with EVs.
Anyone thinking of one of these?
Smallman1 no, looks like one of those “futuristic” cars in Spielberg’s AI
Smallman, a car that would better suit you would have a leaky roof and no horn.
Also, you work in central London, what do you need a car for?
Also, you don’t have a driving licence, I heard you failed your fourth test on the three-point turn.
bosstrabs I imagine a Smallman car would have nothing except a horn and a sunroof for his neck
Wasily I imagine a Smallman car would have nothing except a horn and a sunroof for his neck
?
Wasily And a flower that squirts water
Just a yes or a no on the above please lads!
Smallman1
No
The ’I’ve hit the jackpot here’ look on the salesman’s face as Smallsy enters the car showroom to buy his first ever assisted driving vehicle. Three hours later he’s leaving in their top of the range model, at a 78% APR over 3 years, with a mobile phone contract thrown in and 3rd party insurance. Thank Christ for vulnerable customer legislation.
I have a diesel company car which is due to be upgraded soon so ill say it will be an elecrtic one next. Not looking forward to the change
seanc80 mate of mine was telling me there’s been a ton of returns on company electric cars because they’re far too unreliable for mass mileage. What would you be clocking up in a week?
500-800 km. The owner of the company i work for knows that electric cars are more problematic than diesel cars but he feels the whole sustainable approach to doing business ‘optics’ is more important.
seanc80 have cybertrucks hit Eire yet, Sean? Talk about a match made in heaven with those Ziggy boots.
