Corden’s initial ban from the restaurant was also already featured as an article on the main pages of other newspapers, eg it was also on the Telegraph’s site yesterday. Nothing to do with just being the BBC. It also seemed to be the most viewed article on the BBC yesterday, so people clearly thought it was worthwhile.

Making an apology does not completely excuse Corden from being a massive prick to begin with, and by many accounts he has previous form in such incidents.
