I completely agree. The productivity issues I see in operating theatres make me so angry. I want to go to work to do work. We start late, can’t find kit etc etc. The reason people try to run it like a business to try and make it more productive. That is not a bad thing.
I could go to work and do 50% more every day, but the support isn’t there. I expect there to be an operational issues with every single case I anaesthetise. Something missing, somebody late, some team member not there, some IT issue etc etc.
But Julia is not the person to fix any of that. Of that I am sure
