C_J I know a couple of guys who went to Eton pretty well. Both very smart, likeable, honourable, humble - and aware of their privilege. I’m sure there’s a few twats too of course.
Hursty C_J My wife’s cousin’s husband went there, from the east end but his mum was a shrewd cookie and bought him a double bass as a youngster which enabled him to bag a scholarship as he was the only one who could play at required grade. Top guy, now a Captain for easyJet which is another story….basically he walked into a bank and convinced them to lend him the money for his training which in due course he would pay back
