Amps well said really. I got my B in Maths at GCSE and fucked it right off.
Amps looks like he stopped to film that in the middle of a county lines run. Cheese rolling cunt. Agree with him though that maths until 18 is a stupid idea.
ScottBailey I stopped doing Maths at 16 and it’s been enough for me, don’t see what difference these three more years would make.

Have you missed the last 20 years of the absolute shit you wear?
bosstrabs 🥁
bosstrabs aren’t you a banker? Lol. HSBC picking anyone off the streets these days.
The amount of times the Pythagoras theorem has pulled me out of a sticky spot means i am 96% in favour of kids studying maths until the age of 18. I’ve left the other 5% out as you can never be 100% sure about these things!
-si- as long as the kids give it 110% then that’s all that matters
Maths at A Level is proper nails as well, I managed to get an A, U and U which equalled a U overall 🙂
Fairly sure the whole point of Sixth Form or College was to streamline your learning in areas of personal interest?
Hursty Maths at A Level is proper nails as well, I managed to get an A, U and U which equalled a U overall 🙂
Yeah, I lied to make a bad joke of course. Did Maths A Level and somehow scraped a highly undeserved B. Although how hard it is depended on what modules your school chose - we did Pure, Mechanics and Statistics and the latter two are not that difficult. Don’t know how a couple of the clever bastards in our sixth form got As in Further Maths.
See if Rishi is right….
Simple Triggernometry question: -
If 1 broom has had 17 new heads and 14 new handles in 20 years, how many brooms have been used in total?

🥧 (cant find the proper symbol)
bosstrabs Exactly what I did, Statistics was my A, as for Pure and Mechanics….lol
B in A Level maths is very good
bosstrabs Got an A in maths and B in Further. But I already had the grades for uni by Xmas of upper sixth so did no work at all for the last 2 terms and got Es in the last modules. Did Pure 1-6, stats 1-4 and mechanics 1-3 I think.
I think you could do 2 Pure Papers and Mechanics at some schools which would have been a ‘fucking nails’ combination as you put it.
My embarrassing U was CDT at GCSE. Basically spent a term soldering and unsoldering stuff, then planned to make a highly ambitious wooden deckchair and pretty much built it the week before it was due. You can imagine the state of it.
bosstrabs
Please tell us there are photos, dave?
bosstrabs So you pioneered wood soldering?
Sounds fucking sensational
Did you post it to rhouses as a house-warming gift for the new apartment?
’Dave’s deckchair’. It already sounds like a board euphemism.
Mad_Cyril lol. Like something out of Wicker Man I would imagine. Would defo buy on Etsy.
