Footy kits
Green isn’t really a Liverpool colour is it? Wasn’t it allegedly supposed to have been introduced as part of the Carlsberg sponsorship in 92 (though they played one season before with a green Candy away kit)?
Not 100% sure that’s true but still. All red with white or yellow trim at home. Yellow or white away.
Always preferred the more traditional/simple kits for Warrington too. The current one isn’t bad for a modern rugby kit.
Yeah, don’t mind the green, but not sure I wanna see it on the home shirt.
Rugby league loves a giant V or chevron.
Green is literally on the club crest and has been for many years.
Not for long!
Dutch 88 kit was a smasher. There’s also an old ussr one. Can’t remember the year. Will take a look now. Class also.
86 Dave?
My first one was the red 86 kit, got it for my 8th b’day in may that year. I think it’s the same kit over those two seasons. They moved to candy in 88 didn’t they?
Bolton’s kit has been dire for years now. I know clubs have greater margins on shit kit like Macron, but surely they get less sales than if it was Nike or Adidas - it’s just better for the fans.
Apologies, dave, you are right mate. Different collar and the yellow trim on the 86 top.
