Yeah, don’t mind the green, but not sure I wanna see it on the home shirt.

FYI, this might be the greatest footy shirt of all time.

Amps It doesn’t look right to me for Liverpool. Reminds me too much of those awful Souness years.

Rugby league loves a giant V or chevron.

          Don’t remind me!

It’s an intentional optical illusion - makes the players look fucking hard with massive chests/shoulders.

Green is literally on the club crest and has been for many years.

Dutch 88 kit was a smasher. There’s also an old ussr one. Can’t remember the year. Will take a look now. Class also.

Echo And like I said - introduced during the Souness era and a reminder of it.

This was the badge on the first Liverpool kit I had…

My first one was the red 86 kit, got it for my 8th b’day in may that year. I think it’s the same kit over those two seasons. They moved to candy in 88 didn’t they?

Bolton’s kit has been dire for years now. I know clubs have greater margins on shit kit like Macron, but surely they get less sales than if it was Nike or Adidas - it’s just better for the fans.

-si- There was this one, maybe for a year, inbetween the ones you’re talking about.

White and grey trim and stripes the full length of the sleeve, unlike the 86 one which was white and yellow trim and stripes only on the shoulder.

Apologies, dave, you are right mate. Different collar and the yellow trim on the 86 top.

bosstrabs If I had to guess, I’d say that was the first shirt I had.
