Exactly, PvD was a very honest white man. Unlike UK prog house djs who first started off trying to think they were from new york, then realised that the Dutch and Germans would be remembered in the annals of history. Needless to say, UK garage does not suffer from this problem. Because despite it being based on NJ garage, their djs didn’t have penis envy.
