rhouses Millsy haha I recall you read Shantaram, there’s a great bit on how Bombay smells when he lands for the first time. Couldn’t have been more true. The smell of drying fish, shit, and the sea matched with heavy humidity is an experience.
LT42 I can’t wait to get down to the coast and get in the cold sea, its been 35 degrees in this concrete hellscape for the last 10 days. Bayram started here this week so the coast will be mobbed and Istanbul will be empty which is always nice. Once the crowds return we’ll head down and stay for 2 months. Bliss.
