Millsy LOL - the brief was long haul and hot. The hotel is fantastic and I’ve got dinners booked at some tremendous places. Like the Cotswolds, I’m not going for a sight-seeing trip.

Hursty Pretty much tied between Qatar and Emirates of the ones I’ve flown. BA a VERY distant 3rd. I don’t understand how BA managed to take such a huge, open space and make it feel dark and claustrophobic…

vinnyt77 I thought the layout was much better on Qatar. The bar at the back on Emirates is much noisier than on Qatar and also I thought the stewards weren’t as classy shall we say as Qatar.

Hursty Food and bev on Emirates tends to win for me, and I find the cabin crew on Qatar a little upright! True about the bar - though I enjoyed having it to myself a coupla years ago…
Can’t get a decent Belly Buster in Qatar for love nor money. Shithole.
