This thread is what it says on the tin. Nominate your album of the year for 2022.
Nothing has quite caught me like George FitzGerald’s ‘Stellar Drifting’ album:

With very little thought and in no particular order …
it’s mid November
True, if you are a bit daft at maths or just being pedantic about others gist.
Nice to see SM001 post his top 375.
Danger Mouse & Black Thought - Cheat Codes
And then probably Loz Goddard and Rival Consoles.
hugopal it’s mid November
Eligibility for ‘Album of the Year’ in the Grammy awards is actually the albums from October-October in the preceding year.
NME always did their album of the year issue the week before Christmas, meaning any albums released in mid December onwards probably go into the next year’s selection. Etc…
rhouses Danger Mouse & Black Thought - Cheat Codes
Utter shite.
There’s only one at the moment and thats the album I listen to on a weekly basis. The brilliant
Awe Kid - Body Logic
Daniel Avery - Ultra Truth
Warpaint - Radiate Like This
Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Cool it Down
Awe kid needs framewerk remixes.
Cankles-McJeggings fuckin framework!!
Sea Power - Everything was forever
The Smile - A light for attracting attention
Alvvays - Blue Rev
I like that Yeah Yeah Yeah’s album - SOTEOFTW and Wolf are two of the years best tracks but it’s only 5 or 6 tracks and two filler tracks.
bosstrabs into the weeds we go!
1 each you cunts. Fucks sake.
Wally Sea Power - Everything was forever
They’re still kicking about? I always liked their stuff but never followed them closely enough to pay attention to their release schedule.
mono-stereo 1 each you cunts. Fucks sake.
Atta boy Mono. You’re allowed to have an honourable mention, but should make a hard decision on what deserves the hardware.
After much deliberation with myself. And a few train beers on the Bullet train to Shin-Osaka, I’d like to confirm that Awe Kid’s “Body Logic” is the album of the year.
Daniel Avery and Beach House for me.
Forgot this earlier. It’s not the best album of the year, but in the top 5 for me.
Warpaint - Radiate like this
