                      RichM Look maybe I’m a complete anomaly when it comes to going out for a few beers and please correct me if I’m wrong - and I welcome any of you to point this out to me…. but the one word that i wouldn’t use to describe this whole affair would be ‘straightforward’.

                      Like at one stage MC was suggesting that there are other places to meet other than a pub and that i was almost archaic to even presume that that would be an automatic choice. Then there were terms like ‘venue’ & ‘event’ banded around and well, at that stage i presumed you were all complete fuckwits really.

                              seanc80 the last part is most likely true. I assumed any reference to event and venue was a wind up. Anything other than a pub or club (or Ed’s roofless homeless shelter) would be weird
