I’d be dead on 25 for sure. Think my record in a night was 6 and over the weekend Friday to Sunday somewhere around 15 mark. Themz were the days of doves etc though. Reckon old Harry here probably wouldn’t be taking 25 of any of the proper old school ones and living to tell the tale.

      Same here 5-6 doves on Friday or Saturday night. And then spend the next 4-5 days coming down. It’s the main reason I has to take a massive break from going out. Had a few scary situations where I almost passed out completely off my rocker.

          Oh I did pass out/collapse/fuck it plenty of times. Back in them days it was a competition every weekend to see who could get the most fucked. Alarm bells didn’t start ringing soon enough though. Got to the point where I had to take myself to one side and have a little word. Just got dangerous in the end. Especially when you start hearing about people dying from od’ing on cocktails of everything and think fuck me I reckon I had way more than that. Couple of close calls, retirement.

            Remember I went to a club in Kings X and the amount of proper messers there was unbelievable. Some guy sparked up a random convo with me as you do and he’d taken 21. He also told me his mum got him onto them when he was 13 which is why he took so many. His mate who was on his first time had done six by that point in the night. This was about 15 years ago. All in all it was pretty grim there with some serious horror shows.

              I was absolutely mangled on my first, and I had done it in two halves IIRC. Mangled yet telling anyone who would listen “I’m doing this EVERY week from now on”. Couldn’t really imagine anyone putting away more than a couple their first time unless they were absolutely piss weak pills.
