Cankles-McJeggings but Southgate was more attacking in the majority of the tournament. His substitutions to change the game when needed was very poor at times. But overal he was more attacking. Not sure what other managers would have done, played TAA?
I think we are close, but need a manager who can provide the finer details to take us to that final step to win the tournament. For that I think we need an experienced manager who has done it before, and understands what it takes to get that extra winning mentality from the players. Having mangers who have never been there before won’t make the difference we need IMO
Unfortunately we won’t get Klopp or Pep to manage England, so we will struggle to get the right manager.
