He wrote it on the slip with a + between the bets to indicate that it was a double.
Went in to collect his £4.5k this morning and they tried to blag that the bet was only two singles and tried to pay him out £1.5k. The woman behind the counter said she tried to put them on as a double but it didn’t work at the time so she assumed they must have been singles. Didn’t ask him if he wanted them as singles, just processed the bet as two singles. He went nuts and got head office involved who agreed it should have been a double, but because one of the prices on the slip was a special, it couldn’t be part of a double. They’ve paid him out at the normal price so he’s £700 down from the £4.5k. The bastard
