Hursty, you’re a Liverpool supporter.

Tbh, I don’t think your solution of 1st class would work, I bet cunts are just as bad in there nowadays, on their cheap advance tickets.

They will let any bastard into airport lounges too nowadays (for 25 quid at Manchester), yes I am talking about airport lounges @Mad_Cyril

We were supposed to get a Sportage but they’d run out and they had to upgrade us to this, much to their chargrin and mine. And if anyone knows what I think of jeeps as said previously on this board you’d know that I dont see it as an upgrade. So it’s a 4×4 sport auto that’s only been rented out twice and has full tech and leather but the thing is so plasticy and flimsy and horrible to drive it’s not even in the same ball park as a Sportage, upgrade or not. We were supposed to get a manual too and this gearbox is disgusting and revs too high in every gear. Absolute gash. I don’t even know what it is.

You think you’re living the dream Dave, that’s Crewe heritage park 🤣

alistair depends on the type of train. Edinburgh to London on the new Hitachi trains is relaxing, better than flying actually. Regional services are a waste of money though.

mono-stereo I dare say the extra leg room and reclinable seats are better value on long journeys on a new Hitatchi train. My own experience has been poor though.

bosstrabs I wouldn’t go on a train anywhere in any country without headphones these days. And as for Merseyrail, if loud TikTok vids are your main problem, you’re doing fine.

Disappointed they didn’t give you a Ute

bosstrabs Liverpool Football club yes, doesn’t mean there are places I wouldn’t go in Merseyside, much like Manchester

It’s public transport though, what do you expect? I travelled to manc from down south before Xmas on the train, it was an experience

I commute with the city bus during winters (bike in the summer), and I would easier leave my house in the morning without my keys than my headphones.
