I know this is the Boxing thread but just seen that McGregor had lost again, what a shame lol, what a fucking clown he is. Ah well more money in the bank.

Hursty Praying I never see or hear of him ever again.

The WWE beckons for the clown. Leaving the stadium on one leg, limping like he’s been cut down with an axe, expensive suit and climbing into a Rolls Royce, it’s all out of sync and tacky. I wish he’d fuck off for good too.

Impressive KO from Valdez last night. Frampton hand injury very suspicious rumour has it that there was no America TV deal and the UAE came in with right money so fight should be in Dubai now.

    Hursty

He managed to troll himself into like $100,000,000. Gotta respect the hustle.

Fury back on the sauce not good.

I’m still more interested in Eddie vs Thor.

I’ll be at the second AJ v Fury fight.

Totally underwhelming, Fury’s star has already burnt out. WWE awaits the big dope. Joshua would bore you to tears also.

LT42 Eh, I’m not clued up in boxing but he was amazing to watch against Wilder, especially in the second fight.

Hursty yeah, he’s not for the purists at all, Hursty. If you were “entertained” then fair play.

Frampton Vs Herring on channel 5 at 10pm on Saturday, hopefully he can make history.

What a great channel to potentially to make history on!

Smallman1 Yeah huge mistake going with Frank Warren fuck up after fuck up, but no doubt will hang them up after this or one more.

Hoping Canelo does some real damage to this dirtbag on Saturday. Pissing blood status. Canelo will hunt him all night so he better bring his dancing shoes.

A friend flew out for it last night.

I think the only boxer that could give Canelo a good scrap would be Hagler, and he ain’t around.

What a punch to finish the job. Perfection. Fair play to Saunder’s corner, Canelo was primed for the kill.

Good interview with Hearn here, I’ve a lot of respect for him. Fury and his team are dodgy cunts.

mono-stereo Yeah I’d agree, EH makes a good case for it being that way anyway

Watched a Ben Davison interview recently, sounds like there’s a lot of bluffing going on with Fury, ie - he plays up to the reformed character/mental health stuff alot but behind it all hes still on the booze, is a bad trainer, doesn’t stick to meal plans etc, moody and hard to work with, isn’t honest all the time. It’s like he created a character and it’s far easier to just act that out for the cameras/fans. It’s what I’ve always suspected tbh, he’s a sham.

Yep. His demands for an equal purse to AJ over the years when he’s bringing absolutely nothing to the table and AJ is putting 4 belts on the line is laughable. They know full well that deal isn’t getting accepted and why should it?

Reeks of an absolute bottle job. Thought this all along

It’s not boxing it’s more like WWE, the yanks lap it up.

Its TVs fault again, its also the fault of the mongos who pay for this stuff. Exhibitions are fine as long as they’re marketed as such but instead Sky and Showtime make it look and sound like a legitimate matchup. Its really sad whats happening, in lots of sports to be fair, moneymen have polluted and poisoned so much. I watched Paul on the heavy bag last night, its comical and depressing to see. What next? Eminem and Dr Dre train for 3 months and tog out for the Dallas Cowboys? Or Piers Morgan up front for Real Madrid? We’re a ball hairs close to that reality. Thats where we are. Never underestimate the demands of generation X and what entertains them. Pricks. I’m off to my rocking chair to smoke my pipe.

I agree, prefer a subscription model over PPV.

Yep, Sky only have themselves to blame for putting so many average fights on PPV.

Smallman1 Agreed. When a Chisora fight is PPV, you know there is no turning back

Rumours the Fury/Wilder fight is off because of Covid in Fury’s camp.

LT42 No great shakes, Fury will absolutely dismantle him again like last time

                • LT42 replied to this.

Hursty I hope he does, Wilder is a complete clown which is some statement considering he’s fighting a complete clown.

Smallman1 I dunno, Ed. From what I heard it was someone in the coaching team, ESPN mentioned that it was someone in his camp a while later. Now it’s Fury himself, I reckon there’s some timewasting going on here. There’s been comments thrown about that he’s putting up a brave face for the media but he’s still battling some temptations and isn’t taking things too seriously, being moody and not sticking to diets when Davison was with him for example, that’s partly why Davison moved on. He probably has Covid now anyway if there’s people outside of his camp filtering into his airspace, which is probably likely given Tyson does what he wants.
Embarrassing for sure. We’ll see what comes out in the wash.
