You have to laugh, why do these grade A weapons get any coverage?
I saw a pic of Fury yesterday and it looks like his legs are getting smaller, his top half was tilted over under the strain and he looked like a fully shaved Chewbacca.
Anyone watch this? https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/boxing/evander-holyfield-vitor-belfort-jake-paul-b1918627.html
Sounds such a bizarre event & Trump commentating 😂
RichM I think it’s cruel and dangerous if I’m honest. Like most things money is the only motivation, its just sad to see a titan of the sport be humiliated like that. If the Governing bodies weren’t so corrupt they’d do the right thing and stop this shit.
Completely agree, an old legend will die if they keep trying to get them to fight later on in life. It’s a sad thing for the sport
It’s a fucking shambles. Boxing is an absolute disgrace
Yeah, the whole umbrella of boxing is decrepit and filled with leeches and scumbags. Next month those 2 big donkeys will fight for millions of dollars and there’s journeymen who have to work on building sites just to keep the lights on. Its a shame because I enjoy watching the likes of Canelo and Linares but I just can’t stomach this new era of circus fighting.
LT42 Couldn’t agree more
On a side note the Eggington v Jkitou fight show on Channel 5 was an epic

Foreman to fight a hologram of Ali by the end of the year.
So who’s looking forward to Joshua v Usyk?
I do like watching Usyk, he has some serious skills and the mentality to back it up. Lots of respect going into the ring and an unbeaten legacy on the line, Joshua will have his work cut out
Come on boxing specialists, who’s winning this weekend? Already very excited for it!
Hursty Joshua easy.
alistair Interesting, how so? Too much power? Usyk is a fairly handy technician, landing punches will be the hard task for Joshua
Hursty He’s not a legit heavy, he couldn’t even put a washed up Chisora away. Tell me how he is going to beat Joshua who with the exception of the first Ruiz fight has looked pretty comfortable against all heavies he has fought? Joshua has huge power and his boxing skills are also underrated
Usyk will outbox him, Hursty, so it’ll have to be a KO from Joshua, which would mean him having to produce the best performance of his career. I don’t see it but it’s boxing so…
It’s a Joshua KO for me
Old-Dutch same here
alistair He’s not a legit heavy
Wut???
alistair He’s not a legit heavy, he couldn’t even put a washed up Chisora away. Tell me how he is going to beat Joshua
You should probably sit this one out
This is why the fight is hotly anticipated, plenty of people writing off Usyk but there is no way this will be easy. Joshua has a size, power and weight advantage for sure, but will that translate to a win?
Hursty Joshua has a size, power and weight advantage for sure, but will that translate to a win?
It will Hursty.
Hursty agreed. Usyk is a serious boxer, I wouldn’t write him off that easy. If he gets that jab working then I don’t think Joshua has the naus to combat him. At least it will be a proper test for Joshua and not some tomato can who’s going in there to be knocked out.
Smallman1 I bet Eddie Hearn has the scorecards filled in already?!
