Along_the_Wire They proved their musical chops when they came back from Britpop caricature after Country House with their two best albums Blur and 19. Beetlebum, Coffee and TV, No distance to run, Tender and Death of a party are all great tracks.
For the FAO of Smallman's attention
Along_the_Wire Modern life is a great album. Chemical World and Oily Water!
alistair post Britpop, they became dull - IMHO obvs
I loved Britpop! Especially UB40 and Def Leppard.
Wings took some beating!
Along_the_Wire It’s all shite, Albarn can’t sing. End of.
My favourite Britpop band?
Right Said Fred.
alistair Blur is a brilliant album. Love the guitar work in Essex Dogs.
Amps Give over, of course he can sing.
mono-stereo Crappy weak voice that can hardly hold a note.
Amps Bollocks. His voice has actually got better with age imo.
mono-stereo I’m not clicking on that, I’ve had a lovely day today and you’re not going to ruin it for me.
Getting It All Wrong.
The new book by Amps.

Smallman1 Getting It All Wrong.
The new book by Amps.
Lol fucking hell. Get my iron.
‘Utterly fucking clueless’ a new book by Edwand on football, music and fashion’.
Amps you’re missing out, it’s a good tune.
Both Blur and Gorillaz are fucking great - although like with all bands there are some tracks that are much better than others.
For example, on the new Gorillaz album that Baby Queen track mono posted is excellent but I can’t get along with Skinny Ape at all.
Blur were also a bit experimental even during peak-Britpop. Such as this B-Side:

What amazes me is just how prolific a songwriter Albarn is. He’s made four albums in the time others have made one. Good bad and the queen’s two albums are also worth a mention. This is a beauty
Sonically, Gorillaz are excellent. Definitely brings up their content to the top level.
Always liked this
One of the best gigs I’ve been too is the Gorillaz when they played the entire Demon Days album at the Manchester opera house in 2005.
Like perhaps many I got in to Blur at the time of Parklife; it was only recently that I happened upon this earworm which was on their preceding album. It still sounds pretty good for a song from 1993.

Nothing posted in here to support uber wankers, blur will change my mind I’m afraid. Its all cheesy mockney wannabe shite. If anything the videos posted substantiate my sentiments. And that so called ‘earworm’ is fucking wank.
I fucking hate oasis and I’d still take them over these cunts.
Cankles-McJeggings mockney
Damon Albarn was born in Whitechapel (in the same hospital as me, the Royal London) and grew up in Leytonstone - there’s nothing “mock” about his accent.
You’ll have forgive Dermo Hugo, his old age means his tiny mind isn’t able to hold much information.
Enough to recognise what a bellend you are though, Edwand.
