Not sure why the two of ye are so invested in doing 2 hour plus, mixes every couple of weeks. that would bore the jaysus out of me.

…its just the way they come out Sean, 3-hours’ish once a month seems to be my sweet-spot for fitting-in the tracks I want to play. These ones are a bit longer as I’ve been downloading so much more music than normal.
Like I said, I’m making a concerted effort to do one a month at the moment… but in the past I’ve sometimes only done 3 or 4 in a year.
I wouldnt be able to find that much music that i actually like enough to put in a mix so consistently and for that time frame. Fair play to you both
For me my Friday-night 6 hour sessions have been the highlight of my week. I don’t even think about doing a mix, I just record everything. And about every 4th Friday-night I deem good enough to release.
Getting the XDJs was a game changer for me. Never realized how much the sync took the fun out of it.
Hold the fucking telephone Damo, you did this on Ableton? Ok I also fail to see the fun in that.
What is the perfect length of a recorded mix?
Homegrove Say it ain’t so, Damo?!
Thanks MC, much appreciated.
Hate to agree with Cyril, but I must. Although the Essential Mix at 2 hours is almost as good.
not really important the manner in which its put together really is it, once the music is good, carefully selected, programmed well and sounds smooth?
That said for long road trips, reading a book etc I much prefer + 2 hours.
Can we all just agree that Damo has been mugging us all off for years and move on?
I can normally handle about 26 minutes of a Millsy mix before wanting to kill myself.
Millsy and Damo getting battered here.
Delighted for them
I quite like the Lullaby mixes.
They help me get to sleep.
