It’s no different here. There’s simply no quality control. It’s open a micro brewery, get yourself a silly name and then get it in local pubs, bars and restaurants. They distribute it themselves and it’s nearly all fucking nasty. One minute a grubby sewage worker, grow a beard, get a load of tats, wear a lot of black, next minute you’re a brewery owner. They all disappear quick smart too from what I can tell.
Probably because their business model is none existent and the product is wank.
There’s more places opening now that only sell one micro breweries stuff too. So you’re fucked.
I went to one last week and it had nothing but silly named IPA shite and only 1 lager described as ‘light, crisp lager’ and it was neither light, crisp or lager. It was sweet, cloudy, flat, muck that I left. I said to the girl I just want a proper drink and she just looked at me dumb as fuck and said we don’t sell any 🤣. There’s zero point in audience capture if all you sell is bilge. All you’re doing is taking away all the people that would like to go out and drink their favourite brand and replace it with substandard piss. I didn’t even end up having food there or anything. Some model that.
