  • GU 45 - Danny Tenaglia - Brooklyn

Calling it a final mix (even if a third in a trilogy) seems a bit tasteless given Tenaglia’s cancer diagnosis. They would have had plenty of time to revise the press statement.

Homegrove Shit. That news passed me by somehow. Did it even get posted on here anywhere?

Yes seems slightly odd phrasing given the circumstances. Albeit it would surely be his final mix for GU regardless of whether he’d been diagnosed with cancer or not. DT’s last update is saying that he thinks it was discovered early and he should be able to overcome it in not too long, mind.

Homegrove …“3rd and final instalment in Danny Tenaglia’s GU Trilogy”

…I think that’s pretty clear, no?

hugopal I’ll do a rare one and reply to you (twice I guess) that yes it’s early, and probably he will be fine, but it’s still cancer.

Unbroken1 I don’t know, the word just jumped at me. Also a trilogy? His last mix was 22 years ago.

Oh well, will nevertheless listen this with great interest once it’s out, and probably buy the CD too.

Was he ever supposed to produce a trilogy?

Or is it more that “he’s done two mixes… therefore this is now a trilogy”?

          Either way, swerve

          Looks shite

          Cheers

Not a single Tim Green remix on there?

S to the werve big time.

Homegrove he’s already had a round of treatment and is waiting on tests to see if it’s worked

Homegrove I’ll do a rare one and reply to you (twice I guess)

Oh dear, what a terrible burden that must be. How will you survive?

Glad to see that this news makes some of you happy. Cheers.

Looking forward to Oakenfold and Emerson’s trilogy. And those 2 chumps Sasha and digweed

zackster impossible - it contains Slam ‘Lifetimes’.

I know this discussion has been had on here before, but that on its own instantly rules it out of contention.

Its one of the marquee tracks chief.

I suspect Strokenfold’s third release will be somewhat underwhelming
