Homegrove Chris D’elia is being outed on Twitter as a groomer

I mean, surely that’s a necessary skill for someone so hirsute? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Homegrove that’s kind of funny. if you had to pick a creepy bastard out of a line up, it would probably be d’elia.

Been watching a lot of Nimesh Patel on YouTube, used to write for SNL and Chris Rock.

Didn’t think much of the Chappelle rant, though it was straight from the heart and relevant. He’s usually much tighter when he gets into that space at the end of his specials.

i really like him and some of his earlier stuff was hilarious. his last netflix was probably the weaker out of them all but still a lot better than most other stand ups.

just finished Jim Jefffries and thought it was pretty good. doesnt go into any political rants like previous episodes/tv show and was really funny in places

Not his best. I felt like he was trying too hard to undo his new rep as a woke comedian. Which he kinda got from his Comedy Central show. Several laughs though.

Rewatched a couple Tiffany Hadish standups last night. I lol’d a lot.

Kells77 Loved the “They Ready” special where she gets all her up and coming comedian friends to do sets. “Theeyyyy readddddyyyy.”

Hannibal Burress (the first comedian to out Bill Cosby as a sex pest) has his new special on YouTube. It’s good stuff.

Big fan of James Acaster, saw him in a comedy club in London in 2016 before he was well-known

bosstrabs me too, funny bugger. Saw him in the little room at the Glee in Birmingham doing one of his Edinburgh shows Recognise…probably around that time too. Me and my other half have somewhat differing comedy tastes and she was pretty stony faced throughout. Saw him in the pub beforehand but didn’t say hello.

New Nate Bargatze is quite good on Netflix. As far as clean comics go he’s probably my favorite.

Also on other stand up-news Jim Jefferies announced his retirement from stand up on his podcast. He’s going to do the tour he’s contracted to do, after you can do stand up in theatres again, so when he comes to London next time you’ll know it’s his last time.

At first I was a bit sad, but his reasoning is actually solid. “I’ve done 8 specials, and I think I’m starting to repeat myself. And covid made me realize I like being at home and not touring.” His last special was shit anyway.

Surprisingly, Jim Gaffigan’s 2021 special is spot on. The missus played it randomly and I found myself laughing quite a lot.

Louis CK’s latest, Sorry, is standard Louis, in the sense he opens the thing dedicating the first 15 mins to pedophilia. It’s a bit meh, but I enjoyed the covid material. Found the previous come back one better. His website has a package for all his specials for about $25.

rhouses loved Gaffigan’s special. Can’t watch Louis CK anymore. Separating his creep from his act is impossible for me.

Homegrove tight set, and definitely relatable… something you usually don’t get from the big hitters.

I’m alright with Louis, what he did was wrong, but I feel he got a bit of a raw deal.

Brian Simpson on Netflix’s new season of Stand Ups is a very good half an hour.
