Along_the_Wire how’s the recovery going?
Millsy Awful. First 48 hours were brutal - morphine didn’t touch the sides, OxyNorm did, but not for long. Day 5 now and outside of ibuprofen for the swelling, I’m taking 60mg of codeine around 3am as sleeping is not great for it - that’s some buzz when you’re nodding off and you can feel the pain disappearing. Physio is rock hard, but on the mend.
The worst bit is wearing vests as they’re easier to get on and off (easier in that t-shirts are impossible) - it’s an awful look, let me tell you.
Along_the_Wire sorry to hear it’s been so bad pain wise. The wife beater look is proper though, so every cloud.
Millsy it’s all expected pain-wise, but from Wednesday to today is night and day. I’m not allowed to play the PS5, which is a bit of a pain in the arse - the missus is out all day today, it’s the FA Cup which I don’t give a shit about, no PS5 and no drinking. All I’ve got are Blurays

benson yeah, lasted about 18 hours and then it kicked right off!
Along_the_Wire Can you not source some weed over there? Seems like a happy middle ground between pain killers and passing the time in an enjoyable way. Good luck with the recovery, sounds a bit rough.
