An absolute tune. As David put it, her voice sounded like a dream. RIP

Gutted. This was boss. Still sounds fresh as fuck.

Going to watch episode 7 of season 2 now to pay her respects. It’s my favorite episode after the pilot, so it’ll be a pleasure.

I really really wanted to enjoy Twin Peaks but I simply couldn’t get past the first few episodes of season 2. Couldn’t tell you what on earth was going on. I remember reading the plot on Wikipedia and getting confused, and that was a summary. Maybe I’ll try again one day.

Anyway, RIP to Julee Cruise….Falling is a great tune

gcw I really really wanted to enjoy Twin Peaks but I simply couldn’t get past the first few episodes of season 2.

It does sag at times around the half-way stage of season 2 (with Lynch not actually directing many of those episodes), though the last couple of episodes make up for the perseverance.

Plus the 3rd season which came out a few years ago was absolutely sensational. Truly a tour de force. It’s worth slogging through the old season 2 for. Some of the most extraordinary scenes committed to screen.

Amps ha, I hadn’t realised that was who did the vocals. Cool.

Season 3 is the greatest prestige tv show of all time. And it has aged fantastically. Just recently started a rewatch and I am more dialed in than ever. The Mitchum Bros are such wonderful characters.

Once I’ve got a TV good enough to do it justice then season 3 is def getting a rewatch from me as well.

        LOL at Grundig

I’ve seen an episode of Twin Peaks.

        Cheers!

Defo not for you amigo. Stick with the arrows and footie.

And listening to power prog with my top off.

        25 days later

James Caan dies aged 82. RIP. Great actor. Brilliant performance in ‘Misery’.

Damn. That is a great loss. Fantastic actor.

        Grrat actor..

Misery is my choice for his films (The Godfather was deffo not his movie). RIP.

Homegrove When she notices the ornament has been moved…. fucking ouch.

Big labor and union activist too. Truly one of the good guys.

Was brilliant in Mickey Blue Eyes.

          RIP.

Thief is such a great and under-acknowledged film

Millsy pretty sure he said it was his favorite from his career.

Forgot about Rollerball - hell of an early film memory

This is a reasonably fun one, for an all star cast kinda affair.

Whenever I hear Dixon mentioned as a top jock

              Real shame.

An excellent comic actor in HBO’s second best TV show ever.
