Amps Anecdotal one for you; friend of the family went had a suspected heart attack last week, was told it was a two hour plus wait for an ambulance, neighbour drove him to A&E, he was told there where over 160 people to be seen before him (I’m convinced that figure is wrong, but it’s what I was told), but he could stay if he wanted too. He had to lie on the floor in random corridor away from A&E until he was seen. In the end a paramedic who was coming off shift saw to him, and told him it probably wasn’t a heart attack. No idea how long he was there for until he was seen properly and diagnosed with what turned out to be a collapsed lung.

How long have the Tories been in power? They couldn’t give a fuck about a single one of you.

It’s a sad state of affairs alright.

I had mixed fortunes earlier this year. Required an ambulance for my son, two arrived within 6 minutes and 4 paramedics in total. Admitted to hospital and received first rate service throughout.

Whilst there I did overhear a woman register at the a&e and her complaint was a blocked nose. Even when the registrar asked her to confirm it was just a blocked nose she insisted on seeing a doctor. I wonder how much nonsense like that clogs the system
