Although Brexit is done, I wonder how many of the torie MPs fear the split of the right wing vote, the spectre of Farage, and are keen as fuck to get another gammon loved leader in his place.
If everyone in cabinet is seen to insist he goes, Patel, Gove, The Haunted Pencil etc. and they’re all shitting the idea of a split, then they have their scape goat, all get to stay and will just install Boris v2. Should the second gammon loved PM do a vaguely better job for six months, you could see them calling an election and possibly winning it a year later.
