As much as I think the Tory rank and file are cretinous Little Englander cunts, I don’t think they typically have a big problem with Indians.

They are sort of seen as the ‘right type of immigrant’ by many Tories I’ve met and conversed with, as opposed to Pakistanis who are Muslim and much lower achievers educationally and professionally.

They love Patel, for instance.

I think the bigger problem is that Sunak is genuinely a shady cunt with his finances.

I consider my fairly politically engaged, and I’ve only been a member of a political party for about three years when I was a student.

By contrast, was stunned to find that around 90m Americans are members of either the Democratic or Republican parties - which out of a total of 155m votes cast in the 2020 US Presidential election cycle is a vastly different number…

Labour. Campaigned for Frank Dobson in Camden (where I lived) in the ’97 election.

To further make the point, I’m more active in grassroots politics than I’ve probably ever been. Work with the Green party in Brighton and Hove for local and national elections, but am not a party member. Go figure etc etc..
