C_J I don’t see why any of the profits from our energy should go to foreigners. You know, those same foreigners you hate when they move here, or have anything to do with our laws, the same ones who are now laughing their tits off at us as they hike the prices. Plus, it’s critical infrastructure, it should be in our hands and our hands alone, it’s a security risk having foreign owners. I doubt any politicians are for renationalising it, those cunts all have their fingers in the corporate pies.
No idea what you would put in the ‘for’ column… I suppose if you are already loaded you could have a buying option presented to you when they went up for sale, knowing the share price would go up with the planned price hike. So, the only benefit really is ‘more asset striping of the country for the benefit of a tiny already wealth minority, to the detriment of every other man woman and child in the country and the on going expansion of the corporatocracy’.
