I just can’t see electricity getting any cheaper. if we all go down the renewable route how will the government get there tax revenue from it. less tax mean less spending on NHS, police etc.

If it was ever going to be cheaper to use renewables we should already be paying less for electricity from wind turbines considering our taxes have been used to invest into it. The cunts charge the same rate no matter the source of the energy.

we have massive wind farm directly opposite where I live. Have our electric bills come down. of course they haven’t. maybe once the build has been paid for they may come down.

The fact energy companies use our green taxes to buy energy from people with solar panels etc. which they then sell at full price onto other customers tells you all you need to know about the level of shafting that’s going on
