As I explained above, it won’t be Boris because no-one is willing to work with him.

He was kicked out the last time because there were mass resignations.

Yes, he might be the most popular with the rank-and-file party members and your average man on the street who could only name two politicians if pushed, but if we have learned nothing else from the past 6 weeks we have learned that the idiots can not be allowed to take important decisions any longer.

alistair In terms of our typical, parliamentary democracy, this is true. The reality is that that 2019 manifesto and resulting mandate have little or no relevance in 2022, after 2 years of pandemic, and in light of the geopolitical changes. Every Tory I’ve seen using this excuse to vote for Johnson has sounded vapid and hollow.
