        The reserves have been known about since 2000 - a joint agreement had actually already been made for their development between the Palestinian Authority, Israel, and BP. However, Hamas coming to power in Gaza nuked the possibility of working together on the deal being feasible.

              Homegrove they’re also one of the small number of counties who refuse to condem Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Because the South African regime is propped up by Russia.

              So I don’t think their position on Israel/ Hamas counts for much and using them an example shows quite a lot of ignorance imo.
