This doc had to be around 2002, poor gazza i didnt realise he was so bad with ADD and OCD he was tormented from his youth. Was absolute genius for Rangers between 95/97 ill never forget those times.

Saw a documentary on Netflix about him.

Very sad, can’t help but feel sorry for him, a troubled soul.

One of the reasons I think Gazza is so troubled is because he’s gay and can’t come out.

I saw/met Gazza at one of those football dinner evening events about 6 or 7 years ago. He told some great stories as expected. Someone asked him what he thought about players retiring early from the England team. He was disgusted by it, burst into tears and said he’d give anything to play just one more minute for his country. Was a good evening but also a bit strange as he is clearly a tormented person

      Some player in his pomp.

      Had absolutely everything.

One of those do’s where the main course is always roast dinner??

Mad_Cyril spot on. Bizarrely it was above a Yates in Lowestoft of all places. Hosted by ex Norwich player Dale Gordon, who is friends with Gazza

Ross Barkley reminds me a little bit of Gazza in the way he plays the game

Lives near me and I’ve seen him out and about quite a bit, same with Harry Redknapp. A tortured soul who I think everyone would like to see at peace.

Never forgive Hoddle leaving him out of the France 98 squad . Was on holiday in Turkey when the news came out . Was in a right mood for days and the Mrs had a right go. ….

Him and Ince were magnificent getting that draw away in Rome to get us into the finals . Even if he didn’t start having Gazza in the bench rather than Merson would have given us something different .

I also remember for few months in 2002 there was talk of him making it back in the squad . He went on a decent run of form for Everton culminating in him tearing apart the O’s in the cup. Think he then got injured , got on the sauce and Sven laughed the idea out of town .

He doesn’t really watch footy I heard cause there are no players that he is really fussed about . He was an unbelievable player . Utter genius . Proper fruit loop though, poor chap

Sounds like Bog Filla’s appearance at the recent AGM.

I can’t tell whether you’re extracting the Michael or not?

He’s been absolutely awful for us though props to him for bagging the winner earlier.

Ross Barkley has had a lick of the tar brush, just like SeanC.

                Gazza lives in Sandbanks?

                Fair play.
