  • Sasha and Diggers - Progress Manchester May 2024

Thinking about it, 2 tickets up for grabs if anyone wants them. Free of charge. (A token donation to the wally retirement fund would be appreciated though) Someone may as well have a good time with then.

I’ve got a spare ticket to give away too.

Don’t want anything for it bar a picture of the person who takes it with their TOP OFF front and centre.

Smallman1 19 degrees forecast, tops off all round I reckon, Manchester have never had it so warm in May!

Mad_Cyril Looks like the weather has held off. 20 years ago this week was Renaissance Wild In The Country, that was fucking freezing.

Dry-Tinder I went to the one in 07 or 08 at knebworth? S&D followed by Underworld from what i remember

I travelled down on a coach full of random clubbers who were regulars at Sankeys, most of them spent the whole festival at the Circo Loco tent listening to the ket infused Villalobos minimal shite.

      Each to their own

Good to see Terry Tibb’s aving it large.

It is quite amazing considering how shit the weather has been

By pure chance I was collared by Hursty. He was sound.

I mean maybe I was just off my tits but he seemed absolutely golden.

More of you should be at this event though - its got the right kind of people in there to do it with, everyone up for it, loads of class moments.

Here is a gift from today:

        Tim Green b2b Roy Rosenfeld

        Sasha b2b Digweed

Hardly a phone in the air without anyone mentioning rules about phones.

I’ll be going next year. Join us.

zackster I can confirm the baps were generally around the edges or front or on higher levels up at soundgarden stage. Over

Ended up going as a result of Wally sorting me with a ticket - I wouldn’t have gone otherwise, cheers!

Cristoph was in full party mode, mash-up central on the main stage, which was a lot of fun (in the sun! It was roasting late-afternoon). Tunes he played from when I got there:

          M83 - Midnight City (Prydz)
Eric Prydz vs. Pink Floyd - Proper Education
Cirez D - On Off w/ Cassius - The Sound of Violence
(and I think what must have been) &ME & Black Coffee - The Rapture Pt.III w/
Kings Of Tomorrow ft. Julie McKnight - Finally

Franky Wah took over and began with Maceo Plex - Conjure Balearia but at this point it was getting very busy so I left for the Soundgarden stage, where the atmosphere was brilliant so I remained there for the rest of the evening. Had a great time!

Thought the main stage area was a tad narrow and a bit on the quiet side (volume wise) for the amount of people there but when I returned for the end of S&D it seemed they had sorted the latter.
