LT42 McCartney is a mere pub entertainer compared to Lennon.
I always thought this, and of course it was cooler to say Lennon was the best.
However, since I actually went through the lists of which Lennon-McCartney songs were actually more McCartney, I think he deserves to be considered the man.
Also, his solo output is quite interesting.
