I like the move to shorter tracks! I feel a lot of DJs will drag out mixes for the sake of that perfect “flow” and “blend” but ends up lacking in punch or spontaneity - just sounds like one long song. Shorter tracks forces more dynamism.

I’ve said before, I don’t even care that much about smooth transitions. As long as we have a good hour of solid tracks that make sense with each other, good enough for me even if the mixing is spotty.

I’ll take that over 5 hours of Warren and Cattaneo, ’though I’m sure the last hour will be IMMENSE.
