alistair i moved to leeds just after the 12 months of summer with sasha had finished and dont think he played for them again in leeds. went to loads of nights there for the next few years before it shut down. Marshall was always brilliant and so was Neil Metziner and Andy Ward on the middle floor of the pleasure rooms. Right and Ecact was certainly another regular ronson tune.
What are you listening to at the moment?..
another corker from Stonebridge
Dan brilliant album
Taps off
Drives me crazy how much copies of this mix sell for but damn is they hype ever real. Perfect summer sound track.
Best thing Deep Dish have ever done IMO (and a Marshall up yer ronson staple)
Haven’t listened to anything Crosstown has released in ages, but always have time for TW.
Love Tribal Records
Just seen on Twitter he’s basically raised the money for Denise Johnston’s funeral.

It is a good label. Damien has a new album coming out in September although I don’t think it’s released on his own label.
Alright well maybe I’ll give them a Beatport deep dive soon. Just lost interest after a while and never went back. Lazarus certainly seems like he knows what he’s doing.

I do like his style as he does play all types genres.
Pretty sure Bill Brewster used to run Tribal Records years ago.
Mrs & I had all of Miles & Elliots Hard Times tapes early 90’s. Their nights at Yellow, Robodisco and late days Hacienda were always top notch, some brilliant guests @ Robodisco.
We were based round Liverpool and Manchester and never got over to Leeds but the Hard Times all-nighters @ Cream probably have some of my best (hazy) clubbing memories.
IIRC Sbando has some of their Hard Times tapes on his Hear This page

For some reason this popped into my head after listening to the Vasquez / Tenaglia remixes of So Get Up. Prompted by the Tribal records.
Massive fan of Tribal, Slip N Slide, Strictly Rythmn a long time ago!

both of these mixes are excellent
Eastwick said the other day that New Order were a great band, but the frontman(Sumner) was shite.Well, that was part of them being one of the most influential groups of my lifetime imo. Fairplay to him btw,for paying for Denises funeral costs.
Random stuff.
