I couldn’t decide between them and the boss ones as very similar in shape. They were coming from Spain I think so said fuck it and took a gamble. Glad I did coz they look mint on.
The raybans are rubberised and polarised for the beach and boats and whatnot. Not something I would usually go for but I don’t want to fuck up good ones in those places.
Bit disappointed there’s no aviators in there tbh.
I’ve never been an aviator fan they don’t suit me at all. I bought one square shape ones once and left them on an island up in cairns first outing. Never really got over it.
They are very safe Dermo. Im thinking Ray Winstone in a suit.
I like the Tom Ford’s best.

Saw them at the airport in Singapore for silly money. Did the old take a pic and search the net.
The Persols are a little bit heavy at the bridge so will be demoted.
They do black, all tortoise and black arms tortoise rims. I went for the latter. They are so fucking light it’s like you haven’t got them on. I’m almost considering getting an all tortoise pair because every time I see glasses I like they discontinue them.
They are actually very similar to the ones I lost . They were titanium and grey though.

I love Tom Ford’s - I’ve had a pair of flat-lensed aviators with wide rims (get over it) - birds would always make a point of saying how much they liked them - always a good sign. Ironically it was a fat version of one of those birds who sat on them in Puerto Rico and ruined them. I’ve paid £80 to get them fixed, but they just aren’t the same. It’s over.

The build quality of Ford’s never seems to waver where as Persols most definitely have. Also the quality of the materials and crystal clear vision through the Boss glasses are very high and surprised me compared to the ray ban and Persols. The Persols weight has pissed me off quite a bit. My last pair weren’t like that.
